In this post, I’m going to share some holiday gift ideas from a few different categories, since you can get just about anything from Walmart! Walmart is having Black Friday Deals for Days and has already released a variety of gift guides for tech, home, fashion, beauty, toys, and more. Here are some of my picks from things I purchased from their gift guides or giftable things I’ve owned and loved for years.
I just got it in the mail, so I’ll let you know how it goes! I know Waterpik is a reputable brand that’s been around for a long time , so I felt like this was a pretty solid pick. It’s not glamorous, but you wear your teeth every day, so it’s worth taking care of them. I think this is a great gift for people who are working on health, self-care, or who don’t like to use products with chemicals. I trolled through the Walmart Fashion gift finder to see if anything jumped out at me. I have had this Kitchen Aid Stand Mixer for about 17 years. Jeff gave it to me as a gift when we bought our first house and it’s one of the best material gifts he’s ever given me. It has been my trusty side-kick in the kitchen through bread-making, birthday cakes, homemade pasta, whipping cream, grating, juicing, and everything in between. This is a great gift to give anyone who loves to cook and bake.
I usually use the “bag” method but you inspired me to go the “Kraft paper” method. I painted white Christmas trees on mine and am so proud to present them to my family this year. I embellished the hook with some fresh greens and mini bells. With the yarn, I also wound some in a ball, tied it to a white gift box, and stuck a couple of pretty wood knitting needles into the ball of yarn. I thought that would be a fun way to gift someone knitting needles and yarn along with whatever is in the box.

I like that these slippers are classic, comfy, and don’t break the bank. I won’t cry if Sebastian eats one, which he has done before with very expensive slippers. These are also great for kids who don’t need specific foot/arch support. These are pretty flat, so if you have feet issues , these won’t offer the support you need for wearing all day. I bought these Dearfoams Slippers to test them out for their giftability. I received them lightning fast, so I’ve been wearing them around the house and outside to put them to the test.
Sometimes though, there can be situations where products need to be returned. We aim to help you get through those times as painlessly as possible. My boys are at the age where they want expensive electronics, so it’s nice to find a few inexpensive gifts to open and enjoy before we get to the big presents. I have been so inspired by you in the past and I will never let that go! However, I find your post becoming more egocentric and/or commercial everyday, and that I do NOT find inspiring. In a world where commercials are shoved in our faces on a daily basis, I never thought a blog that I went to for inspiration would become, well, a commercial. I will continue to wish you well and be inspired by where you started and how you have become “Miss Mustard Seed”, but you have lost a ‘follower’.
